Peacefully at the cumberland infirmary on 28th Jauary, Bernie aged 88 years passed away. A life long loving husband of the late Sarah (Sadie) and a devoted father of Keith Summers. A much loved granda to Zoe and sadly missed by Clare (Keith's partner). Uncle to Maureen, Alison, Carol and Valerie, not forgetting all the cousins. He led a full life and enjoyed every minute. Previous jobs include Army, Stansfields, Garlands Hospital, stage singer, comedian and Carlisle Council. Bernie quote - It cant get any worse than this. Funeral service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Thursday 16th February at 1:00pm. Any flowers welcome, donations to Eden Valley Hospice
